At Youth Thirst CIC, all our staff and volunteers are committed to supporting individuals who are aged 18+. Youth Thirst CIC offers much-needed stability for individuals and provides opportunities for growth, especially for those facing challenges related to mental health and behaviours of concern.
The following core values guide the philosophy and practice of our services, ensuring every service user is respected, supported, and empowered to thrive. These values form the foundation of Youth Thirst CIC. Upholding these principles, enable us to offer a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where all our service users can flourish, achieve their goals, and work towards becoming independent.

1. Safety and Security
Our accommodations are set in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. Robust safeguarding measures are in place to protect all service users from harm. Staff are trained to respond to concerns promptly and sensitively, including those relating to mental health and behaviours of concern.
2. Inclusivity and Diversity
Youth Thirst CIC celebrates diversity in all its forms and promotes inclusivity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, bullying, and prejudice. All our service users are afforded equal opportunities to participate and find a place of belonging.
3. Empowerment and Independence
Our service users are encouraged to make choices, develop life skills, and take responsibility for their futures. Support is tailored to individual needs, promoting confidence and independence.

Youth Thirst CIC encourage and make provision for all service users to engage in activities within Youth Thirst CIC, and wider community projects. We encourage our service users to form positive relationships with peers, build healthy connections, participate fully, and develop social networks within the broader community.

Youth Thirst CIC adopts the person-centred, positive, and proactive approach to supporting all service users. This permits us to focus on the individual’s strengths and encourages constructive behaviour, irrespective of abilities.
10. Mental Health Advocacy and Accessibility
Youth Thirst CIC actively promotes mental health awareness and advocacy. We work closely with external agencies and specialists to reduce stigma and improve access to mental health resources. Thereby, creating an open, supportive environment where mental health concerns are addressed early, upholding the individual’s rights to dignity and respect.
